Avoid or at least be wary of template sites offered by pharmacy affiliate programs.

Some unscrupulous Pharmacy programs use the lure of template sites. The template affiliate sites are very easy to split and hide the main source and cheap to rename, rebadge and put out there again to grab another set of affiliates.

A pharmacy that sells from its own site has to have more integrity, because the site is a public front that needs to maintain good standing. Affiliates can expect a longer term relationship with a supplier that has put time and money into a more public face. Customers and affiliates are able to deal directly with supplier which gives a better level of service.

When suppliers to template sites go down the affiliate drowns in customer complaints that are easily ignored by actual supplier. All sub affiliates signed up and 'lifetime' commissions also disappear often with a substantial amount of unpaid commission.
